#GhanaDecides: Results show Nana Akufo-Addo cruising to victory

Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ghana Presidential election, Nana Akufo-Addo may be on his way to victory as he is currently leading polling 52% of votes already counted.

Incumbent President, John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has 45% of votes.

Akufo-Addo first contested in 2008 but lost to John Atta Mills.

He again contested in the 2012 national elections against the NDC candidate, the late Mills’ successor as President, John Mahama, and lost.
