Was it inevitable that Dino Melaye would go quiet, or, at least, quieter (which isn’t quite the feat, given the operatic levels of embarrassment at which he was performing) than he was before? We can’t say. But we’re thankful that everyone’s favourite reminder of our poor voting choices and the general ineptitude of our lawmakers seems to have found better use of his time than impressing upon us the dire straits we’ve found ourselves in.

Sadly for him, he isn’t really seeing much competition for his bottom spot. Such is the case when you’ve built up so much clout for yourself. So, congratulations to Senator Dino Melaye, as he retains his spot at the worst Senator in Nigeria for another straight week.
