Special counsel Robert Mueller might be investigating President Trump, the special counsel recently appointed to oversee the investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election is reported to be interviewing senior intelligence officials.

Trump has on Thursday slammed reports that he was being investigated for obstruction of justice, calling the allegations a “phony story” that have been fabricated in replacement that his campaign colluded with the Russian government during the 2016 election.

Trump tweeted this morning, “They made up a phony collusion with the Russians story, found zero proof, so now they go for obstruction of justice on the phony story. Nice”.  An hour later, Trump attacked the investigation, calling those investigating him “very bad and conflicted people,” without specifying which of the probes he was referring to.

According to a report by the Washington Post, the investigation into President Trump allegedly obstructing justice began after FBI Director James Comey.
