You know what they say- ”when a man starts something good, everyone else follows suit” (which is not really a bad thing) but can these people stop already.
It’s beginning to lose relevance.
It all started when a young man, Suleiman Hashimu, embarked on a foot journey from Lagos to Abuja to celebrate president elect, Buhari’s victory, an act that got many Nigerians praising him.
Thereafter he became a role model, so much so that some Nigerians have started adopting his style.
Days after Hasheem Suleiman, completed his foot journey, a certain Abubakar Duduwale, who is also a supporter of Buhari also began a trek in his honour from Yola to Abuja.
Inspired by these two, another person, a 45 year old Adamu Abdullahi says he will be trekking to Abuja from Maiduguri come tomorrow April 30th.
He further said that he will be leaving Maiduguri from Jimitilo by 6am so he can meet with Gen. Muhammed Buhari to congratulate him on his victory.
Adamu, who is reportedly married with four children, however has got a different motive.
He urged all Borno state indigenes to forward their petitions to him so he could forward them to Gen. Buhari when/if he gets to meet up with him.
