Killings based connected to politics have reappeared in Rivers state again, as a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Hon. Boris Naenwi, and three persons were assassinated on Monday night at Nonwa community in Tai local government area of the state.

According to Leadership Naenwi and the three others were assassinated when they were ambushed by the assailants who opened fire on their vehicle.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, Omoni Nnamdi, confirmed the incident but said he is yet to be fully briefed.

Nnamdi said, “Up till now, what I have are sketchy details about the incident. I am yet to get the full details. As soon as I am able to get the full details I will let you know.”
