Earlier this month, singer Oritsefemi was awarded a brand new 2014 Range Rover by his new record label Avatar.

The N24m SUV was presented to him on Sunday, at Blowfish Hotel, Victoria Island by music star, D’banj.

However, while trying to flee from a gang of armed robbers late Friday, the car got totaled.

Confirming the incident, his manager, Dakun, via instagram said

“He was trying to run from a group of robbers who were chasing them periodically in a bid to snatch around Surulere (Barracks side) last night on his way to a meeting with Big Brother Africa’s representative because he will be performing at the grand finale of the show tomorrow. The driver of the SUV is currently at a private hospital receiving treatment while the artiste himself his back home, ” he said.
