Nigerian-born international superstar, Asa was crowned Akan Queen of of Ivory Coast a few days ago.
The singer was ‘crowned’ for a few minutes on Ivorian RTI TV as a mark of honour for her contribution to the country’s fight against HIV.
Asa had before then, performed at a concert in the country, with proceeds from the concert to be donated to hospitals.
