BREAKING: Appeal Court adjourns PDP leadership tussle indefintely

The leadership tussle in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) appears to have no end in sight, as the Appeal Court sitting in Abuja has adjourned the suit before it indefinitely, The Punch reports.

Delivering its judgment on Thursday, a three-man panel of Justices, led by Justice Ibrahim Saulawa, suspended hearing on suit to await the outcome of a related case pending before the Port Harcourt Division of the Court.

The PDP is currently embroiled in a leadership crisis as both Senator Ahmed Makarfi and Senator Ali Modu Sheriff are laying claim to the party’s chairmanship.
