Following media reports yesterday evening of the release of more Chibok girls from the hands of Boko Haram, the Federal government has now confirmed that the release indeed took place.
The girls were exchanged for some Boko Haram suspects, and this exchange was done with the assistance of Red Cross, the Switzerland government and international NGOs.
