A peaceful protest was staged today earlier today in Abuja to sensitize the Federal Government on the plight of the 234 schoolgirls abducted at the Government Girls’ Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State by men suspected to members of the Boko Haram Islamic sect.
Hundreds of protesters including the former minister of education, Obiageli Ezekwesili trooped to the streets to demand action from the government and ensure the release of the girls who were abducted from the school on April 14.
