President Muhammadu Buhari is hale and hearty, and he wants Nigerians to know that.
Speaking with journalists at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Sunday, Buhari, who just returned from the country from an extended holiday in London, reiterated his solid health status.
He even jokingly offered to wrestle with a journalist who asked about the state of his health.
The President said, “You have seen me, you saw me when I was going, you can do the assessment by yourself.”
“You can see me inspecting the guards of honour, if you want to wrestle me, you can do so, but you know I’m taller than you.”
Buhari further noted that he was energetic and stronger as he embarked on a journey back to the state house by road rather than taking an helicopter.
