President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Waziri Adio as the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI).

News of Adio’s appointment was disseminated on Tuesday, by Bolaji Adebiyi, the director of press in the office of the secretary to the government of the federation.

Adio has previously served in NEITI from 2007 to 2008, as the  director of communications.

He is the communication consultant and publisher of Metrolope Magazine.
