There are a number of things that come to mind on thinking of one of the very popular churches in Nigeria, Deeper Life Bible Church. While the church has built a certain name for themselves and her members with an image of holiness and uprightness, many Nigerians generally believe that members of the Pastor William Folorunsho Kumiyi-led church are rigid and largely conservative.
However, in a fresh trend on the microblogging platform, members of the church are challenging these ideas with the #deeperlife trend as they are express to the world that not only are they on Twitter, they are also members of the woke and smart circles of social media.

Some others are stating what being members of the church mean to them as they shared photos of themselves accompanied by words that express their thoughts on what is perceived of the church.
The first raw miracle I ever saw in my life was in #deeperlife retreat ground, Ayobo.
Jesus '96 was D theme of the retreat.A blind elderly man that was sitting at the overflow close to the usher stand received his sight when Pst Kumuyi was praying.
I still remember vividly.

Since deeper life is trending, lemme slide in. I am proud member. Born and bred. My mum will usually call me "salvation child" ? ?. Even if I switch fellowship, the church and it's message is still in the blood. The message is topnotch #deeperlife pic.twitter.com/gUQSPAkUSk

I was born in Deeper Life and I'm definitely grateful! The way you have to learn to open the Bible and read it from a young age is something I pray I'm able to pass on to my kids. It made me less gullible to false teachings. I was brought up not to see any man as an..#deeperlife pic.twitter.com/vqyjgiBAi7

While to many Nigerians, Deeper Life Bible Church members are known for their uptight behaviours, self-seclusion from mainstream events and ideas, the church has also been tagged with a host of anti-social notation in the past. This trend, however, is showing that members of this church can also have fun in most ways people have fun.
I want to understand how the leaders end up to finally having TV in there houses as for me we had it from childhood #deeperlife
