The grapevine is rife with speculation that the Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has been arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS).
Kanu, Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was reportedly arrested in Lagos, on Saturday, October 17.
The Radio Biafra Director was said to have been picked up by security operatives, as he flew into Nigeria from his base in the UK.
The information of his arrest was disclosed on the Twitter account of Radio Biafra as well as news website, The Biafra Times.
The latter reported that the “Directorate of State Security (DSS) in Lagos kidnapped the Director of Radio Biafra, Biafra Television and the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Worldwide, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.”
Similarly, the Twitter handle, tweeted thus:
