Entertainment Roundup: Pusha T claims Drake had a child with a porn star in new song | More stories

Here’s everything you missed in entertainment over the weekend and others that unravelled while you slept – and are still buzzing today.

Drake and Pusha-T beef continues

Pusha-T’s latest diss track “The Story of Adidon” holds nothing back, as he raps, “Sophie knows better, ask your baby mother, cleaned her up for IG but the stench is on her,” and then continues on rather bluntly, “You are hiding a child.”

This seems to confirm the rumour that Drake fathered a child he is not acknowledging publicly. The alleged mother is a woman who now goes by Sophie B, real name Sophie Brussaux.

He started with “Drug dealing aside, ghostwriting aside — let’s have a heart-to-heart about your pride.” From there, it gets ugly. And it is safe to say that Drake is losing.

“The Story of Adidon” is the third and, so far, most intoxicating entry in the most recent round of hostilities between the two rappers. First, there’s “Infrared,” which Pusha-T released on Friday. Then, there’s “Duppy Freestyle,” which Drake released several hours after Pusha released “Infrared” and the rest of his most recent album, Daytona.

With “The Story of Adidon,” the musical feud has suddenly become a celebrity scandal.

ABC cancels ‘Roseanne’ after star’s racist Twitter rant

ABC cancelled its hit sitcom “Roseanne” on Tuesday after the show’s biggest star, Roseanne Barr, went on a racist Twitter rant.

Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show,” ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey said in a statement.

Disney CEO Bob Iger added on Twitter that “there was only one thing to do here, and that was the right thing.”

Morgan Freeman’s lawyer demands CNN retract harassment article

A lawyer for Morgan Freeman has issued a statement demanding that CNN apologise and retract its May 24 article accusing the actor of multiple instances of sexual harassment.

In a letter to CNN president Jeff Zucker, Robert M. Schwartz, an attorney for the actor, claims that the article, in which eight women accused Freeman of harassment and inappropriate behaviour, was used to “unjustly attack” him.

He goes on to argue that the piece suffers from “malicious intent, falsehoods, sleight-of-hand, an absence of editorial control, and journalistic malpractice.”
