Big news. Or not. Does it really matter? Filming has started, Enyinna Nwigwe, Banky W, Ikechkwu Onunaku, Sola Sobowale, Adesua Etomi, Banky W, Richard Mofe Damijo, Somkele Idhalama, Zainab Balogun and Ireti Doyle are returning. New cast members include Dakore Egbuson Akande, ChiGul, Omoni Oboli and Seyi Law.

But the part that’s got tongues wagging the most is the fact that the film is being directed by Niyi Akinmolayan (behind Out of Luck and The Arbitration). Who’s to say what’s responsible – scheduling conflicts, creative differences, any of those other PR approved lines that are tossed out when behind the scenes changes happen.

Either way, we doubt there’s much to worry about. Akinmolayan is a man of impressive work (not to say Adetiba didn’t do a good job with the first) and we’re looking forward to seeing his spin on the material.

Meanwhile, work still appears to be going on with that other EbonyLife film.
