A problem half shared is half solved they say. Well in the case of an American woman, the saying proved true.
The waitress told a customer that she had a dream of visiting Italy where her family originally came from but she couldn’t afford it despite spending 8 years studying art and getting a degree.
Unknown to her, the customer was a good Samaritan in disguise and he left her a tip of $1000 (163,988.19).
The daughter of the unnamed waitress told her mother’s story in a post on social media site, Tumblr.
It’s good to start up conversations with strangers sometimes, you never know who holds the key to making your dreams come true.
