Openly gay Latin American singer, Ricky Martin, and his partner, Carlos Gonzalez, are no longer together.

The duo who are parents to twin boys, who Martin welcomed in August 2008, through a surrogate mother, have reportedly ended their nearly 3-year relationship.

It was however, gathered that the split was an amicable one.

Martin, who has won many awards in his singing career came out publicly as a gay man in May 2010, via his personal website where he wrote, “I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am.”
