Justice for all: Aloma Mukhtar administers oath on new Supreme Court chiefs

In two days time, the number of Justices in Nigeria’s apex court, the Supreme Court, would increase from 15 to 17 as the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Hon. Justice Aloma Mariam Mukhtar, will on Wednesday administer the oath of office on two newly appointed Justices of the Supreme Court, Hon. Justices K. B. Akaahs and S. S. Alagbaso.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Deputy Director Press and Public Affairs of the Supreme Court, Festus Aweneri Akande. The statement disclosed that the swearing-in will take place at the Court room of the Supreme Court Complex Abuja.

The two Justices were recently appointed to the Supreme Court Bench by President Goodluck Jonathan.
