And on Sunday, Kerry Washington kept her hit streak going as she arrived to the 2013 MTV Movie Awards in Culver City, California.

Proving that she’s forever a style star, the Scandal actress donned a black and buttercup yellow colour-blocked Michael Kors dress that hugged her figure in all the right spots.

Revealing her slender frame, the number began with a skintight, long-sleeved black mini dress, showing off her sculpted stems that rested in matching black Roger Vivier pumps.

Adding some volume, the dress was exaggerated with a golden mullet skirt that layered over the black bodice.

The embellishment appeared as a short A-line skirt in the front, trailing in the back for a dramatic appeal.

Stunning as usual, the 36-year-old actress made her eyes pop with the use of smokey shadows, leaving the rest of her makeup to a minimum, including a nude shade on her voluptuous pout.

Kerry’s accessories were kept simple as well, donning a Jennifer Fisher ring and studded Vhernier earrings.

Keeping a few necessities by her side, she held onto a matching yellow clutch as she made her way down the red carpet.

Stopping for a photo op, the Django Unchained star took a picture with her former co-star from the Quentin Tarantino film, Jamie Foxx, who even captured a shot of the two for his own personal collection.

The two are nominated for Best Kiss for their performance in Django Unchained.
