It appears Mr Incredible- MI Abaga- might be taking the Kanye West publicity route as he prepares to release his ‘great’ Illegal Music 3 mixtape.
It's what I mean by we have to fight.. These guys are way way better than 80% of Yankee rappers https://t.co/MulUkRsckk

M.I Abaga took to Twitter to defend a statement he made on Sunday, where he boasted that Nigerian rappers are better than their American counterparts.
While acknowledging that there are many great rappers in the United States, he however, believes he is just as great or even greater than 95% of them.
There are many great rappers in the states.. I agree with that.. Sirs ..With all humility ..I am as great or greater than 95 percent of them

Essentially, MI inferred that he’s on par with the likes of Jay Z, Kanye West and even the current King of Rap- Kendrick Lamar.
And in more Kanye-fashion, MI put out some more tweets to buttress his point.
IM2 took at least 10 rappers no one had heard of and put them on the map.. Name a Yankee mixtape that has done same.. #IM3TheFinale

Last.. Don't buy into the hype.. What your Nigerian rappers are doing is amazing.. Balancing culture language audience and rap #IM3TheFinale
