It must be such a quantum leap from Sanusi Lamido Sanusi moving from CBN governor’s office in Abuja CBD to a majestic room in Kano presiding over an ancient kingdom.
The ex-CBN governor who got suspended by the Federal Government over an unfounded allegation of missing $49 billion was earlier today selected by Kano governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as the new Emir of Kano after the death of the revered emir, Alhaji Ado Bayero on Friday.
Here is Sanusi Lamido Sanusi’s posh new office palace as soon as he is officially turbaned as the 14th Emir of Kano.
Check it out below:
May the Lord lead him aright and create in him an objective heart to rule over his people…LIVE LONG AND BE WISE IN THE LORD.

cool. how old is the kingdom/dynasty?
The kingdom started with Habe (pure Hausa) rulers around 1000AD…..Hausa rule ended in the early 1800’s with the Sullubawa (fulani) dynasty, so this dynasty is about 200years old
