The man who named his dog ‘Buhari‘ was on Monday arraigned in court by the Ogun State Police Command.
The Police said it would sue the accused, Joe Chinakwe because his action was “likely to cause breach of public peace.”
The 30-year-old trader was arrested last week when one of his neighbours reported him to the police for naming his dog ‘Buhari’.
The neighbour accused Joe of naming the dog after his late uncle, Alhaji Buhari.
