Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau, the Minister of Interior, has landed in Kaduna state to make an assessment of the situation of developments resulting from the violent clash between the Nigerian Army and the Islamic Movement of Nigeria.
The minister, made a stop at the Kaduna State Government House to visit Governor Nasir El-Rufai before making his way to Zaria, the area where the clash reportedly took place.
There is increased tension in the state as it is as members of the sect are out protesting the killings of several of their members and incarceration of their cleric and leader, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.
