Head honcho of the Mo’ hits crew, Don Jazzy has apologised to Nigerians on Twitter for voting and encouraging other young ones to vote for President Goodluck Jonathan during last year’s presidential elections.

In his reaction to the recent fuel subsidy removal on New Year’s Day, Don Jazzy tweeted: ‘’I hardly ever regret decisions I make. That my 1 vote added to put the current government in power is one decision I regret with all my heart.’’

He went on to respond to folks who were calling him out for supporting the president. He continued, ‘’Na all of us dem wash. Only my vote could not have put him in. So stop laying blames guys and let’s solve the problem together ‘cos we all voted.’’ Finally, he denied receiving money from the president to campaign for him.

The reactions came fast:

@osazee_o: “Nicely said.’’

@ubashagi: ‘’@DONJAZZY tell dem ooo… u didn’t force our inked hands on the PDP logo…pushin blames won’t reduce the mess we all are in.’’

@alaminkm: ‘’@DONJAZZY Abeg produce anti-government song for us, let’s use it to protest. Support the movement. IDJA #OccupyNigeria’’

What do you think? Is this a co-out?
