In Rivers and Akwa Ibom states, there were reported cases of violence.
Rivers occurred in various parts of Rivers while in Akwa Ibom, armed thugs attacked Unit 14, Etoi Ward 5, Uyo Local Government Area of the state.
During the attack, a voter was killed and another one was seriously injured.
