Photo of the Day: No one is allowed to taunt Arsenal this way

Arsenal 4th trophy

by Akan Ido

London club, Arsenal FC finished the English Premier League season taking the fourth position for the umpteenth time prompting taunts and criticisms from skeptics.

Making the top four in the league is no mean feat more-so this season when teams like Tottenham Hotspurs made a genuine push for the ‘Big Four’ status.

With the premiership getting increasingly tougher, die-hard Arsenal fans maintain that Arsene Wenger, the team coach, has shown class and poise evidenced in his Champions League qualification, who can disprove their claim?

The team living in the shadows of Manchester United, Chelsea, and more recently, Manchester City, beat Newcastle with a lone goal this evening as the premier league season wound up.

Has Arsenal done enough to get a fourth place finish? Let’s have your say on this.

  2. They are lucky this time, it will be different ball game next season if they continue with their hide money game!
