‘Work resumes Monday’ | Resident Doctors call off strike

Askira said the National Assembly’s intervention, especially the Speaker of the House of Representative, Yakubu Dogara, had led to the end of the strike.

“Work will resume from Monday June 27 2016 at 8am. This is with the view to relieve the impact of the strike on average Nigerians. We assure all our members to remain calm as they resume their normal duties and that no one would be victimised for taking part in this struggles.”
