Justice of the Federal High Court, Abuja, Gabriel Kolawole on Tuesday declared the probe panel set up by the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris unconstitutional.
The panel was set up to investigate allegations of violence and malpractice in the Rivers state National Assembly rerun.
The panel in the course of its investigation indicted the Rivers State government of electoral fraud and promoting violence.

The Rivers state government was asked to appear before the panel, it boycotted the hearing.
Upon challenging the legality of the panel, the court has declared the panel ‘unconstitutional’.
