Nigerian model, Esther Kanu, who once participated in the 2013 edition of Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria beauty pageant representing Abia State, has passed away.
The 24-year-old died on the morning of Wednesday, January 7th 2014.
Mr. Desmond Agboola, CEO of Queen of Aso Nigeria beauty pageant confirmed her death, saying:
“She was confirmed dead at the hospital. Esther didn’t show any sign of ill health so she cannot be said that she was ill. She was even with some friends a day before she died. She just woke up yesterday morning, slumped in her room and died,”
He further revealed that the 24-year-old has not been in active modeling for some time now;
“She owns a beauty shop in Banex plaza, Abuja, called Radiant Glow. That is what she has been doing,” he explained.
