Bamikole Omisore, Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Senate President, Bukola Saraki has alleged that publisher of a popular news media demanded $1 million from his principal.
The newspaper had alleged that Saraki bribed the Code of Conduct Tribunal with $2 million.

The accusation came after the tribunal acquitted Saraki of alleged false declaration of assets.
Omishore in a tweet on Thursday alleged that the publisher tried to blackmail Saraki over the CCT judgment.
He wrote, “Twitter is not court of law. For one individual to DEMAND 1 MILLION U.S DOLLARS or he will rubbish a judgement is INSANE. God big pass YOU.”
