President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki and his Deputy, Ike Ekweremadu have dropped once again in the weekly YNaija Effectiveness Ranking for Senators.
Ekweremadu in the week under review spent a better half of his discussions at plenary discussing the recall process of the Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye. The Deputy Senate President took his ‘busybodiness’ a step further when he spent seven minutes attacking the Attorney General of Kogi and the constituents of Kogi West for attempting to recall their senator.
Watch video below:
As for Saraki, the Senate President who over the years has been respected for choosing his words carefully is gradually losing that grace. The travails of Melaye, a close ally of his has made Saraki throw caution to the wind. Just like his deputy, the Senate President has he taking a swipe at the Kogi government accusing it of being behind the recall process.
In the week under review, Saraki, who just recently came out victorious in the courts was not ashamed as he publicly displayed a bus he donated to persons living with disabilities in the Niger Delta. A bus! One bus. Is this man even serious?
Senator Ademola Adeleke of Osun West made his debut on the ranking after he was sworn-in by the Senate Presidentvictorying his voctory at the by-election.
