In search of spiritual fortification, the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Abdulmajid Ali, on Monday, led his men to Redemption Camp.
The officers went on a quest to be prayed upon by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
Their aim was for Adeboye to spiritually fortify the command in tackling security challenges in the state.
And also to discuss relevant security issues in and around the church’s Redemption Camp.
While in Papa Adeboye’s presence, Ali said: “We commend RCCG for the support being given to the command. Let me use this opportunity to seek your (Adeboye’s) prayers as we handle security issues in the camp and the state at large.”
“I also urge other well-meaning individuals to emulate the general overseer in assisting the police command in all ramifications to discharge its duties efficiently.”
After all the talk, the CP and his men got what they came for- much-needed prayers from Pastor Adeboye.
