Suspected billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike known as Evans, has asked the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos to grant him bail.
Earlier, Evans had pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. Just before the Lagos government filed fresh charges against him, which he has stopped.
At the resumed sitting of his trial on Friday, he also asked the court to give his case an accelerated hearing.
