Nigerian content creator, cinematographer and actress is taking her filmmaking skills to the next level as she stars in a new YouTube short film, “Hapless”.
In “Hapless,” Taaooma takes on a new and interesting role, showcasing her dexterity as an actress. She plays a young, selfless girl saddled with the responsibility of caring for her sick father.
“Hapless” sees Taaooma (Ola), a young girl born into an impoverished family, desperately trying to survive whatever menial jobs she gets her hands on to fend for her family. Still, things soon begin to fall further apart in her life when she is almost assaulted, changing the trajectory of her life.
Written by Maryam Apaokagi-Greene, the YouTube short film stars Taaooma, Kelechi Udegbe, Adesida Adeyemi, and Omolola Fanimokun.
