Tems wins ‘Best Collaboration’ at 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards, See full list of Winners

Tems has received the 2022 BET Hip Hop Award for Best Collaboration for her contribution to Future and Drake’s “Wait For You”

The award ceremony, which took place on October 4, 2022, saw the amazing vocalist add yet another astounding accomplishment to her award-winning and record-breaking year.

For her contribution to Future’s “Wait For U,” Tems was nominated for Song of the Year, Best Hip Hop Video, and Best Collaboration Award.

The Best Collaboration Award went to ‘Wait For U’ over other contenders like ‘Family Ties’ by Baby Keem & Kendrick Lamar, ‘Way 2 Sexy’ by Drake Featuring Future & Young Thug, and ‘Hot Shit’ by Cardi B, Kanye West, and Lil Durk.

Burna Boy, who was nominated for Video Director of the Year for his self-directed song video Last Last, lost to Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free.

The Ghanaian famous vocalist Black Sheriff and the South African rapper Blxckie were both nominated for Best International Flow, but lost to the French artist Benjamin Epps.

Tems earned three nominations for her contribution on Future’s ‘Wait For U’ namely- Song of the Year, Best Hip Hop Video, and Best Collaboration Award.
