This teenager found out joking about shooting up a school is a bad idea

This is probably the dumbest prank to do… Sharing a picture of your classmates over social media with the caption ‘Planning the school shooting’.

A 16-year-old Arizona high school student, who was not identified by police because he is a minor, shared a picture via Snapchat and gave it the stupid caption, which got him locked up.

Unfortunately for him, another student in Colorado, a female identified as Kaylee saw the image first, took a screenshot of the photo and called her mother, who the told her to notify authorities.

“It freaked me out,” she said.

She then informed the school resource officer at her Northglenn, Colorado, school about the disturbing post.

To further show how really stupid he was, he reached out to the girl, then told her he attended Sierra Linda High School, more than 800 miles away in Phoenix, Arizona, an information that got him arrested and was detained for one count of creating a hoax, a class 4 felony.

“I didn’t want to assume it was a joke because if I would have woken up today and seen that he really did shoot up a school, I know how bad I would have felt if I know I could possibly have stopped it,” she said.

With the recent increase in cases of gun violence, who does such prank if not an idiot.
