Renowned Nigerian playwright, dramatist, poet, author and essayist, Prof. Wole Soyinka, is eighty years old today.
Soyinka stamped his footprints in the sands of time when he won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1986 becoming the first African to achieve that feat.
The remarkable writer and passionate activist has also written several short stories and essays, but he is better known for his plays.
