TAP Design’s latest collection “Urban Afrique” is an embodiment of New-school, hip and punk, with deep African presence. The label is run by three young and talented ladies, Thorpe Weyinmi, Adeosun Toluwalase and Patrick Ifie.
The collection is a love affair between the age-old wax print Ankara and new-age fashion forward cuts. The collection and the clothing line is for the grown, sexy, hot, classy and confident females who are not afraid to show off their heritage. The collection also makes room for the men with block-coloured shorts. From burstiers to jackets to dresses, all done in eye catching Ankara print.
