The family of the late Dr. Myles Munroe is speaking out about the plane crash that killed the prominent evangelical pastor, his wife and co-pastor Ruth Munroe, and three other ministry leaders.
During a press conference surrounded by his sister and other loved ones, Munroe’s son, Myles Munroe Jr., read a statement from the family.
“We are not sure how or why something like this would be allowed to happen to such great individuals, but still, God is in control,” Munroe said.
“The last few days have been the most difficult times for my sister and I, my family and all of those affected by this loss,” he said.
“We are saddened by this tragic event, but we are comforted and encouraged by the outpouring of love and support from around the country and those around the world at large,” he said.

I listened to his sermon when he spoke during Africa Lets Worship (AFLEWO) in Kenya last month at Winners Chapel, Nairobi. May God rest the souls of all who slept in his eternal peace. Good work done here on earth Munroe.
