Samuel Nwajagu becomes the first Nigerian and African to win the Mister International pageant 

Samuel Nwajagu was crowned the winner of the 16th edition of the Mister International pageant, making him the first Nigerian and African to receive the title.

The Mister International pageant was held in Bangkok, Thailand and recorded the participation of 47 countries worldwide, including first-time participants from countries like England, Cameroon, Mali and the Benin Republic.

Nwajagu, Nguyễn Mạnh Lân of Vietnam, and Glenn Victor Sutanto of Indonesia emerged as the top finalists, with the Nigerian being announced as the overall winner.

Kim Thitisan Goodburn, the 2023 winner, crowned Samuel Nwajagu as his successor.

Funke Akindele Unveils Poster for “Everybody Loves Jenifa” Coming out December 13

Funke Akindele’s movie “Everybody Loves Jenifa”, released on December 13, has set the record for the highest-grossing opening day film at the Nollywood box office.

According to the Nigerian Box Office report, the movie grossed ₦45 million on its opening day with 9,409 admissions, surpassing Funke Akindele’s 2023 film “A Tribes Called Judah”.

Funke Akindele’s “A Tribe Called Judah” surpassed ₦1 billion at the box office, earning her a record that had yet to be smashed by any other Nigerian film. The filmmaker hopes to surpass her previous record with “Everybody Loves Jenifa”.

Chlöe Bailey and Burna Boy party together in Lagos

American singer and actress, Chlöe Bailey’s announcement of her arrival in Lagos left Nigerians wondering why she came to the country as she had shown no desire to visit the African country before.

However, recent posts have shown that the American celebrity is having the time of her life with Nigerian singer and superstar, Burna Boy.

There have been speculations that the two artists might be entangled romantically. Burna Boy has a track record of dating foreign black women, and the presence of Chlöe Bailey in Nigeria, partying with Burna Boy in a cosy position, has Nigerians interested in knowing what is happening between both singers.

Kizz Daniel tells Nigerians to appreciate their nationality

Nigerian singer and songwriter Kizz Daniel took to social media to tell his fans that being a Nigerian is a blessing from God. 

In a now-deleted post on Instagram, the singer stated that Nigerians ought to be proud and happy to be born Nigerian despite whatever hardships they face in the country.
