Tomiwa Lasebikan and Ire Aderinokun:

Tomiwa Lasebikan is a software engineer, who has been enjoyed commercial opportunities both home and abroad owing to his brilliance as a tech developer. Even before finishing his tertiary education, Tomiwa got a placement at Microsoft as a software developer. He worked with the company for four years, spanning June 2014 till October 2018.

Within two years of exiting Microsoft, he teamed up with Ire Aderinokun and Timi Ajiboye to create Helicarrier, a fintech company, which houses a number of fintech solutions. He is the Co-Founder and CPO of the aforementioned company, a company which has Buycoins and Sendcash Pay as its subsidiaries.

At one point, he worked for the international research organization; The National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis (NIMBioS), where he conducted independent research projects using MATLAB.

Ire Aderinokun is the third member of the three musketeers in Helicarrier. She is a Google Expert, specializing in the core frontend technologies. She is the Co-Founder and VP Engineering at BuyCoins. She worked with Eyeo, a German Adblock software company, and Head of Technology at The Big Cabal Media. With such an impressive trail of accomplishments, it is awe-inspiring to learn that everything she know about tech was self-taught. She is one of the founders of the popular feminist movement: Feminist Coalition. Very recently she received the Future Voice Award. She runs her own Tech blog, where she has written over 100 articles.  She is a public speaker who has graced stages all over the world.

Tony Tonielro:

With the way physical activities are being digitised, like how meetings have moved from the offices to MS Teams or Zoom, Tony Tonielro thought it a good idea to digitise some of Nigeria’s favourite pastimes. His final product; Tonielrosoft

Tonielrosoft is a mobile app company that has taken some of Nigeria’s favourite board games and made them available for download. Tonielrosoft mobile games have replicated games like the Naija Whot, Naija Ludo, and Naija Snakes and Ladders for mobile amusement. 

Rufus Oyemade:

Rufus Oyemade is a software engineer who can brag of 12 years experience in designing tech solutions for tech companies. His love and fascination for computers made him a tech fanatic at a young age, and ever since then, he has been thriving in the tech space.

He is currently the CTO and one of the co-founders of Cregital. He also co-founded and led the development of Disha Pages. He was the brains behind GTPay and AccessPay payment modules for WordPress which was pivotal in the adoption of online payment in the early days of eCommerce in Nigeria.

Mopewa Ogundipe:

She is an American based engineer who has had a lush career in the world of tech. She is currently a part of the team trying to bring the hot new iPhone app, Club House to Android. 

Prior to this, she had worked in Medium as a Senior Software Engineer. She had also worked at Carnegie Mellon University where she co-developed and co-taught an “Intro to Android Development” student-led course. Her tech career started even while she was in school, but truly kicked off when she graduated. Her first internship was with the popular photo and video-sharing social networking service, Instagram.

Adora Nwodo:

With a first-class degree in Computer Science from the University of Lagos, Akoka, this tech enthusiast decided to take her talents to the greatest heights, and the result was landing a job at one of the biggest tech companies in the world, Microsoft. 

She is the co-founder of Unstack Africa, an open-source meetup or conference for software developers. She has her own tech media platform Adora Hacks, where she teaches and publishes content on Software Engineering, Career Growth and Life through articles or YouTube videos.

Namnso Ukpanah:

Flutterwave is one of the hottest tech initiatives in the country currently and this young software designer is the Lead product designer at the company. 

He is also the co-founder of Kimoyo, a platform that helps global tech firms create products that will succeed in growing African markets.

In 2020, he was part of the team that curated research reports for Netflix and Spotify to help both businesses scale in Nigeria. He was a product designer at Hotels.ng, and former staff of Figma, a design platform for teams who build products together, where he helped grow it to a membership of more than 7,000 designers across Africa.

Omolara Adejuwon:

She is a highly sought after tech engineer who has had her work etched into some of the biggest tech brands in the country. She specializes in Android engineering and is currently the Senior Android Engineer at Neo Financial.

Prior to this, she worked as an Android Engineer at Kudi, an online banking app. She is also the co-founder of the popular logistics and delivery tech-powered company, Gokada.

Muhammad Khalifa Abdullahi:

He is a fresh young graduate who already has a great foundation laid for a groundbreaking career in the tech world. He is currently a Software Engineer at Munchy foods where he orchestrates the backend development for the platform. 

He was part of the team that represented Nigeria in the Cloud Track of the Huawei ICT Competition Global Final, and of the 64 Countries that participated, 104 Teams and 312 Students, his team of three came out on top.

Adebayo Oshingbesan:

Artificial intelligence is the tech of tomorrow and Adebayo Oshingbesan is an AI research Engineer in one of the biggest tech companies in the world, IBM. He is also currently the Chief Technological Consultant at the visual aid tech company Vinsighte. 

Prior to this, he was a Machine Learning Engineer, and Big Data analyst at Cypher Crescent Limited. He has also worked in other notable global corporations including Chevron.

Dotun Adekunle:

He is the Chief Technology Officer at Opay. He was the product lead in the company. He was also the Technical Lead at Paycom, a payroll services and HR software solutions for both big and small businesses. 

He led the initial design and implementation of the Electronic Certificate of Capital Importation for the Central Bank of Nigeria and the FMDA. He also led or participated in several national scale Tax Automation software projects for FIRS and JTB. He was the deputy CTO of Venture Garden Group, a holding company for a group of financial technology entities that provide innovative, data-driven, end-to-end technology platforms. 

Dotun is the founder of CMYK Studios, a print and market communications outfit.
