Damilola Solesi:

It’s always a step in the right direction when a passion or hobby turns to a source of livelihood because there is nothing better than doing what you enjoy doing. Fortunately, this happens to be the exact case for Damiliola Solesi. She is the founder, CEO and Creative Director at Smids Animation Studios Ltd, where she oversees the creations of the artists and the animators.

Although she’s had a peculiar career history, having worked as IT personnel at NIIT and an IT analyst at the Central Bank of Nigeria, it is clear that animating is where she belongs. Her love for designing colourful characters’ dates back to when she was a child. 

Uzoma Dunkwu:

Uzoma Dunkwu is a highly skilled animator, who has enjoyed huge success on the career path he has chosen. He is an illustrator, a sketch artist and animator, a writer and a director. For the past year, he has been working with the popular streaming service; Netflix, as a character designer. 

Prior to that, he worked as an Executive Director for the digital art content creation company; Scroll Entertainment. He also served as Creative Director for the betting company; Merrybet Gold Limited.

Brian Ola’ Wilson:

From the world of entertainment to the world of finance and now in the animation space, it would seem that there is no other career path this young entrepreneur would prefer to take than the path of an animator. 

He is the co-founder and Creative Director at Zero Gravity Studios, a studio that focuses on telling African stories using digital art illustrations. 

Prior to this Brian Ola’ Wilson worked with GTBank, in the digital marketing department, there, he was in charge of video and animated content for the bank and some of its African subsidiaries.

Anisiuba Uche:

Anisiuba Uche is a young man with many valuable talents in tech, including 3D animation, video creation, and business.  He is currently the Creative Director at Quadron Studios, a content production company, that delivers 2D and 3D animation and visual effects. Before taking on his current role at Quadron, Anisiuba was a 3D Generalist at Gamsole and Orange vfx Studios.
