The All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission to ensure a free and fair election in 2015 general.
While referring to the success achieved by the commission at the Osun gubernatorial election, National Secretary of the Party, Alhaji Maimala Buni, urged INEC to build on the success, stating that it had laid a good foundation which could be improved on.
“The preparations by INEC in the Osun election was better than what was obtained in the past thereby correcting the avoidable flaws usually associated with elections in Nigeria.
“We urge the electoral body to carefully study the entire process to improve on areas in need of improvement.”
“If INEC takes care of the loopholes, we will have credible and acceptable elections in this country,” Buni said.
He called on political parties, politicians, and security operatives to support the commission in conducing a free, fair and acceptable elections come 2015.
inec should ensure security. thats the only way people will come out and vote
not interested in thier election.
