Ebola alert: Doctors and nurses flee from patient at Lagos hospital (READ)

On Tuesday 12 August, the Orile-Agege General Hospital, Agege area of Lagos, witnessed a drama when a man who was bleeding all over his body, was brought into the hospital.

As soon as he as brought in, everyone present reportedly fled from the hospital thinking the man was probably an Ebola victim.

The patient who was brought into the hospital in the morning, was left unattended, as the nurses and doctors joined the other patients in fleeing from the hospital premises.

It was reported that the patient had come to the hospital sometime last week complaining of fever, before reappearing on Tuesday with blood coming out from his body.

Meanwhile, about 190 persons have been quarantined while 3 people have died from the Ebola virus infection in Lagos, Nigeria.
