Edo Tracker: INEC withdraws card readers for reconfiguration ahead of election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday said it has started withdrawing its card readers for reconfiguration ahead of the Edo State governorship election on September 28.

The commission’s Assistant Director on Voter Education and Publicity in Edo State, Priscilla Sule said this while addressing newsmen in Benin.

Sule said the card are being withdrawn from the 18 local governments in the state to enable INEC reconfigure them.

She also disclosed that the commission will be retraining Presiding Officers and Assistant Presiding Officers for the election.

She also said another stakeholders meeting will hold on September 22.
