President Muhammadu Buhari, at a one-day retreat on the economy, said that for Nigeria to get out of the current recession, its leaders need to think outside the box.
In the same breath, Buhari on Thursday told the Association of Local Governments in Nigeria (ALGON) that the Federal Government is unable to release its $3.2bn, owing to the current state of the economy.
Later in the day, Buhari and the rest of Nigeria learnt that the speech he gave during his new campaign, ‘Change With Me’ was in fact stolen from a 2008 speech given by President Barack Obama of the United States of America.
The presidency reacted accordingly to the allegations in the media of plagiarism by promising to deal with the speech writer.
