ICPC boss, Nta Expo sent on compulsory leave

The Federal Government has issued a letter to the chairman of the Independent Corrupt and other related offences Commission, Nta Expo demanding that he proceeds on a compulsory leave immediately, Vanguard reports.

According to the news platform, the letter came from the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

It was learnt that Expo had earlier been served two letters demanding he goes on leave which he reportedly ignored.

It was also gathered that Expo had claimed his tenure expires on November 17, 2017 during a meeting with the President but Buhari had said his records show he was to vacate the position by November 17, 2016.

Expo was appointed in acting capacity by former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2011 and was confirmed a year later.
