A Kenyan, Abraham Kiptum, on Saturday, won the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon.
Kiptum’s winning time was 2 hours, 16 minutes and 21 seconds.
The first Nigerian to cross the finish line, Emmanuel Gyang emerged in the seventh position.
The marathon started off at Teslim Balogun Staduim, Surulere and winded up at Eko Atlantic in Victoria Island (VI).
The winner will clinch a $50,000 prize, while Nigerian, Emmanuel Gyang Gwom, will claim a N1,000,000 prize
