It appears singer, Wizkid has honoured the invitation extended to him by the Nigerian Police.
Wizkid’s visit to the police station on Monday, was possibly as a result of the complaint lodged against him by popular blogger, Linda Ikeji after he threatened to order his 16-year-old cousin to beat her up.
Both parties have been involved in a public spat for the past few weeks – with Wizkid taking series of swipes at her through his Instagram page while Linda Ikeji often responded through her blog.
During one of their infamous spats, he threatened to have her beaten up and Linda Ikeji responded by taking the case to the police.
On Sunday, she posted a message on her blog explaining why she took the decision to report Wizkid.
The singer has now posted on his Instagram page, a picture of himself alongside the Lagos state Police commissioner, Fatai Owoseni.
He added a tongue-in-cheek caption: ‘Police is your friend’.
